1. What is your firm’s line of business?
We’re a Spanish IT consultancy specialising in cybersecurity and digital transformation. In our more than ten years’ experience, we have become a benchmark in the sector and a technological partner of major Spanish businesses in aiding their digital innovation and transformation processes. Our high-value services and solutions ensure that companies are more secure, efficient and collaborative, in order to achieve greater competitiveness.
2. What are the key factors behind your company’s success?
Specialisation, flexibility and innovation are essential in making us our clients’ trusted technological partner. We employ more than 300 highly qualified professionals in different disciplines, in which we make a difference in adding greater value.
We incorporate innovation into all our projects through synergies between our cybersecurity and digital transformation teams, thus providing differential value to the services offered.
3. What are the firm’s goals for 2017, in both strategic and commercial terms?
We’re developing a Growth Plan for Spain and Latin America. This year saw the inauguration of our new corporate headquarters in Barcelona (World Trade Center), which are the epicenter of our global activities. We opened offices in Lima at the beginning of the year, and we’ve been operating in Chile since 2015. By the outset of 2018 we hope to establish a presence in Bogotá and Mexico City, where we’ve already initiated our activities.
4. Could you tell us about a project you’re currently working on?
As we stated previously, Necsia focuses on two fields of specialisation –cybersecurity and digital transformation -- that provide feedback to each other through synergies designed to add greater value to our services. We assist companies in the process of digitilising in a cybersecure manner by garnering support from leading international partners. One example is our recent alliance with Proficio, a benchmark MDR (Managed Detect and Response) provider in the United States, which has enabled us to build a Security Operations Center (SOC) Level 2 in Barcelona, offering detection, early alert and response to cyberthreats from a new, latest-generation cybersecurity centre that is the only one in Spain, which operates through a “follow the sun” service integrated with other twin SOCs in San Diego and Singapore.
5. What do you feel are the main advantages of working in a business complex like WTCB?
We sought an exceptional setting that would favour team productivity and the well-being of our employees. WTCB has enabled us to improve our working environment with offices right beside the sea, lots of natural light and large spaces designed to promote internal communications and mobility. Necsia’s new corporate offices also enhance our market position, in that they reflect our brand image and values.
