When UEL executives were looking for a location for the company’s offices and a representative centre in September 2013, they had a clear idea of what they wanted: a small, functional space that could be extended as their business grew, a showroom to display new goods, and above all a corporate venue projecting an international image of prestige to its clients and collaborators. In addition to finding everything they wanted at WTC Barcelona, they value its views of the sea and and its strategical location near the airport and the Port of Barcelona’s logistical centre.
Esden Business School: a business school with meeting rooms overlooking the sea.
Esden was founded in 1996; its mission is to provide quality post-university training courses.
Having their headquarters at the Complex means that apart from having permanent offices, they can also book the meeting rooms that they regularly need for their courses right at the congress centre itself. Flexibility and leaner overhead costs, plus all the business complex’s value-added services.
Founded in 1978, Computershare is well known for its expertise in handling high-integrity data, large volumes of transaction, reconciliation and payment processing data and a strong commitment to their clients. Computershare chose WTC Barcelona as its Spanish headquarters in early 2014. The company sought an upscale location with views of the sea and a maximum of value-added services to simplify their employees’ day-to-day activities: WTCB’s gym, the Club Meet & Eat and the wide variety of shops and restaurants in the commercial area met all their requirements in that regard.
Lanxess: an example of customer loyalty based on location and personalised attention.
Lanxess AG is a chemical company based in Cologne, Germany, which spun off from Bayer in 2005. The Lanxess group comprises 52 companies with over 17,000 employees in 31 countries. Its sales reached 8.3 billion euros in 2013. Its main line of business is the development, manufacture and sale of rubber and plastic products, specialty chemicals and industrial intermediates.
Lanxess established its Spanish headquarters at WTC Barcelona in 2004. The modularity of its space and the location of its offices –covering almost 500 m²-- are just a couple of the reasons for its loyalty. Centralising services in a single customer-attention office and the assortment of shops and restaurants on hand in the commercial area are further examples of the efforts we make to ensure they remain with us for a long time.
Cyberclick. The best results come from contented companies
Awarded third place on the Best Workplaces 2013 in Spain list, Cyberclick is a group of companies specialising in online advertising and marketing headquartered in Barcelona, Madrid and Bogotá. Clacktion, InboundCycle, Digital Response, Coregistros and Lead Directo also form part of the Cyberclick group. And each of those companies is led by an industry entrepreneur.
Its Barcelona heaquarters at the World Trade Center were a decisive factor in the firm’s recognition. Cyberclick moved into this attractive building six years ago and now has almost 500 m2 of offices, since it is constantly adding to its workforce.
It firmly believes in providing its staff with workhour flexibility and in promoting happiness within the company; it has even created the concept of InspiringMondays. And their workplace allows them to enjoy their job through the firm’s positive labour attitude. When employees take their sight off their computer screens they can see the entire city of Barcelona; their seaside location provides relaxing views and their light-filled offices promote a sunny attitude.
VF: Concentrated resources and optimum use of space for managing large-scale brands.

VF began by leasing 1,000 m² of office space at WTCB nine years ago. Its growth and the modular flexibility of WTCB has enabled it to expand its offices to the 1,500 m² that VF now leases.
